I created a mask with a badge drawn in it, I also put eyes, nose and mouth. When thinking about how to create a mask that represents me I thought about the badge because I want to have a career in law enforcement and that is a main focus of mine. When I think of what represents me it is not easy but overall currently being in law enforcement and having a future in it is a good represanation. I used a picture of a mask that I enjoyed the shape, texture and line to form the mask I wanted to use. I used a cop a badge to allow me to draw the lines and display the color properly. And I used a different mask to make sure that the shadowing of the face was done properly. The types of principals and elements I displayed in my mask were color is black and white, texture is the paper but colored evenly, line is the badge, eyes, nose and mouth, shape is face and the badge, unity is everything flows together and balance is that the face is symetrical. My masks turned out better than I expected. Due to my unartistic ability I thought that the mask would not be look good. I thought creating a mask was challenging but fun. Although it took me a few days to realize what I wanted to draw I enjoyed the way my mask looks. I did not want to get into to much detail because I am not very good with drawering and I did not want my mask to look bad or two cluttered. In law enforcement the thin blue line is a represantation of the fight against crime.
